VICUS-DELIN, new player on the rudder and ESD market. VICUSdt signs cooperation agreement with WUXI DELIN in China.
VICUSdt has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with WUXI regarding Energy Saving Devices and twisted rudder manufacturing in China. The agreement covers several areas of expertise, such as CFD hydrodynamic design, Finite Element Analysis and mechanical engineering oriented to new rudder and ESD designs.
The new brand of energy efficient propulsion systems will be called VICUS-DELIN and will be available for either newbuilding or retrofitting, covering all the projects stages, from concept to sea trials.
VICUS-DELIN offers top quality Chinese production combined with leading European design.
WUXI DELIN is a well-known designer and manufacturer of various marine mechanical, electrical and hydraulic products. The company production facilities covers an area of 80,000 square meters, has more than 270 employees, including more than 60 professional technicians and 15 quality administrative staff members. Workshops are equipped with horizontal and vertical lathes as well as modern milling machines lifting facilities, sand-blast equipment and a variety of welding equipment. Good infrastructure facilities and advanced equipment guarantee accurate machining and excellent quality.
VICUSdt has a strong background when it comes to design of wake-adapted propellers, rudders and ESD’s. In this new joint venture VICUSdt will be in charge of the design of the new rudder and ESD, also support during the concept design of new ship types as well as carrying performance measurements on sea trials.
We look forward to develop our relationship with WUXI and extend our cooperation across several other areas in Chinese market, as well as being the strategic partner that enables the new brand VICUS-DELIN to further grow their business and expertise.
