The project LNG Prototype Pack, which ended on May 30, 2018, consists of the construction of a small membrane tank (110 m3).
LNG Prototype Pack initiative is funded by the Axencia Galega de Innovación (GAIN) through the Conecta Pyme program, with funds from Feder (Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional) and the Ministry of Industry (Xunta de Galicia).
VICUSdt has carried out the structural calculations and the study of the movement of the LNG inside the tank to ensure its structural integrity. During the study, the efforts due to the temperature gradients in the behavior of the materials have also been taken into account.
The calculations have been made following the corresponding regulations for its installation both on land and at sea.
