Throughout this year, we have carried out several projects in The Netherlands with our local partner Berger Maritiem. Among them, we could highlight the delivery of several fixed pitch propellers that have been installed in inland navigation ships.
Among them, we can mention those that have been delivered to Gebr. Of Jonge and installed in the new buildings Dettmer tanker 120 and 122 for the shipping company Dettmer Tankers. For these constructions, VicusDT also conducted studies with CFD tools in order to optimize the hull and the performance in an efficient way.
During the sea trials carried out in Holland, the predictions made during the studies and the design phase were contrasted, being another successful project for Vicus as well as for the shipyard and the final customer.
